Little Fish

Mrs. Fish and I have always tried to give our 11 year-old daughter wide-ranging experience, especially when it comes to music. So, I walked into Little Fish's room last night and she's listening to some jazz that presumably I put on her iPod.
"What are you listening to," I asked.
"Jazz"
"I can hear that. But, it's not Miles Davis" I had loaded some Miles on for her.
"No. It's Charlie Parker. He's my favorite."

She was listening to Now's the Time:



My kid is listening to "Bird"...she's so awesome. Here's another one for you, Little Fish:

My kids were open at that ge to different types of music. Then they become teenagers. That's all I'm sayin...
