My mom is speaking! I got to talk to her and she is VERY tired. She is not out of the woods yet, with a heart catheter possibly on Monday, but she is feeling better. Her cognitive functions seem to be intact, she is taking some physical therapy, and the doctors seem to be taking good care of her.
Thanks again, all, for your continued thoughtfulness, prayers, calls, e-mails and general support. I'm going down to see her tomorrow.

Still thinking about you and your family brother. It sounds like you are staying strong, and I hope you can continue to do so. You apparently get it from her...She ain't got no quit in her!
Glad to hear things are at least a little better. Hang in there.
