Swim, Bike Run...It's So Much Fun!

Found this little ditty at Beginner Triathlete...the new Official Song of Triathletes everywhere? I'm not sure, but it is kind of catchy. Enjoy...

Fun..and weird...I have almost the exact same gear as that guy, from bike to jerseys even to the Garmin. Thanks.

Watching that I realized it has been 6 years since the last time I entered a triathlon. I've entered plenty of other events--including RAGBRAI (Google it), but its just not the same. I am resolved to enter one at the first opportunity after September.

Thank you for the reminder.

Awesome! I've claimed another victim...errrrr....person wanting to explore the outer reaches of endurance...I am soooooo excited to be gearing up yet again. Cannot wait. There are a lot of events late in the fall, I would guess, especially in your area, as it's still warm.

You could start looking here: http://www.trifind.com/la.html

Oh, look at this, here's one just for you on September 10th....

Ah, but I will be living in sunny Monterey, CA in September... I will check the trifind site.
The last two triathlons I entered were in Northern Japan, so the water can't be any colder (I hope...) :o)

Cali!?! You could qualify for Kona and it's only a short hop across the lake to Hawaii...
